Talenox is pre-configured with all leave types mandated under Hong Kong's Employment Ordinance: Annual Leave (scaling with years of service), Sick Leave, Statutory Holidays, Maternity Leave, Paternity Leave, and Compassionate Leave. Custom leave types can also be created on top of these.
Yes. Talenox is updated in line with Employment Ordinance changes -- including updates to continuous contract thresholds, statutory holiday counts, and entitlement calculations -- so the system automatically applies the correct entitlements based on each employee's contract terms and service length.
Leave data from the Leave module feeds directly into Payroll. Approved unpaid leave (no-pay leave) is automatically deducted from that month's payslip at the correct daily rate, and sick leave pay adjustments are calculated and applied automatically -- so your payslips are always accurate without manual adjustments.
Yes. Each employee has their own Talenox account where they can submit leave requests, view their remaining entitlements, and track the status of their applications from any device. Managers receive instant notifications and can approve or reject requests in one click, even while working remotely.
Yes. Talenox automatically calculates outstanding annual leave pay upon employment termination, based on the employee's accrued entitlement and daily wage rate as required by the Employment Ordinance. Carry-over settings can also be configured to reflect your company's leave policies.
